Red Hibiscusby WalenaComment by Jacko: I love the colours. I'd like to see a little more focus on the ???? (can't remember the work ... pistils?). Good job. Jacko. |

Red Hibiscusby WalenaComment by inspzil: My personal first rule on macros is - Don't lose focus in the foreground. I realize the difficulty preserving DOF on a photo like this with this much depth, but it can be done. This could've used a boost on the sat's to bring the color in stronger, but it isn't necessary. The photo is quite good, but its kind of like a good play with terrible first&second acts, it's hard to get by that initial part and have a basically unbiased opinion when viewing the rest of the play. Good Luck - Inspzil |
