Tree of lifeby olbolComment by MacDonald: I viewed your site due to a comment you made on one of my shots.... and I am glad I did.... having visited your website with the majestic views of my ancestors homeland was a real treat for me... and then I viewed this shot.... As a mother of 4 sons and one who breast fed them, I was so moved by the uncomplicated beauty of this shot..... I so pray your child was delivered safe and your g/f is doing well..... blessings on your home... sincerely, Mac |

Good day at the marketby olbolComment by espy2: I'm not much for receiving or giving comments, but since Candids are
near and dear to my heart, I have decided to give comment on every entry
in this challenge.
This is ok. The pig head is interesting, but not much more for me here interest wise. The woman is cute, but out of focus. The focus fell closer to the meat. Lots of shadows and a bit busy for me in color. Perhaps the use of a b/w conversion or sepia would have been better. This is just a 3 for me. |

Good day at the marketby olbolComment by melismatica: This reminds me of a photo in one of my vintage photography manuals. It works fairly successfully but I think I would like it better if the woman were smiling more toward the viewer. |

Good day at the marketby olbolComment by e301: This is fun - I wish there were however a stronger relation between her and the pig's head: this is impressionistic, but her smiling expression makes it clear she's interacting with someone out of frame, and thus has good reason to be ignoring that face sitting there - catching her less engaged would make that lack of attention to it more fascinating. That's what I'd think if it were my shot, at least. |

Abandonedby olbolComment by talikf: It's a good idea but I think I would have preferred to see the whole head in focus and only the background blurred. |
