Beauty of nightby L o S TComment by Dr.Confuser: Very difficult subject with a conventional lens. If you don't have access to a telescope, but are shooting with a DSLR, try putting a teleconverter between your lens and your camera. To my taste, it either needs to be razor sharp, or the frame needs to include something of interest so the moon is only adding context. |

Towards the door of "luck"by L o S TComment by cpanaioti: *** Critique Club ***
The choice of subject is interesting. Keys can provide for some nice textures and patters.
Using flash and the only source of light can produce some very harsh shadows as can be seen on all sets of keys here. The most distracting shadows appear on the left most ring. Softer lighting I think would improve the overal feel of the image as well as help bring out some of the textures in the front most keys.
The placement of the key rings works quite well but the composition could possibly be improved by raising the right most ring slightly and lowering the other two slightly in the frame.
A fairly pleasing image. With so many keys I'm sure there's several arrangements that could produce pleasing images.
Keep shooting.
