Challenge: Met the challenge perfectly, while still being very creative and clever.

Technique: The only thing I would suggest here is to not use the on-camera flash. It adds alot of "wash" to the image and causes a large shadow behind the bird. Simply by using high power lights, or even natural outdoor lighting (through a window), this image would have had much more depth and clarity.

Overall: A great idea that just needed some technical cleaning.

Great expression caught on the bird! A clever idea that may be more effective with some different angles and levels of light rather than just a flash.

Neat shot! Too bad you had to flash this (shadows and glare). Color seems a little muted, but pretty good (esp. the wings of the parrot). Challenge met. 6 Swash
