There are no wrong notes in jazz !by Dona_kComment by zardoz: A real cool shot. A classic subject for black and white. The tones on the arm and face seem a little too harsh for me. A much larger aperture to narrow the depth of field would have blurred the brick wall behind and helped to isolate the jazz player. |

The Biscuitby Dona_kComment by MaryO: He looks like a happy dog. A few suggestions: the lighting seems quite different in the center panel, which leads my eye to the grass instead of the dog. The bit of building in the left panel is distracting when the other panels have pure grass background. Lastly, part of the dog is cut off in both the sitting and standing views; I think they would be better as full body views or head shots, but not this in-between-type view. |

The Biscuitby Dona_kComment by Rankles: The top left corner is a huge distraction from an otherwise decent attempt. The composition of the first needs a lot of work as does the pose in the third. |
