Interesting colorisation (I'm assuming), although I'm not sure what it adds to the image. I travel to the city every day by train, so I understand how it becomes a part of life.

this is much more city ish than most of the shots, but your focus is a bit soft. Also i'm not sure why there is a purple cast on the shot as straight black and white would have worked fine

This subject could have given you many ideas for a creative shot. The consequences of the flood, or the power of he flood, shocking moments. Here, I feel the lack of fear, the photo is sad, but I don't see anything that makes me fear of this water. Composition is a bit unclear, too. Photography is something where you only have visual devices to make others feel what you did, and you need to use your creativity 101% to get something stunning. I am sure you will succeed some other time. (2)

Yes, it is a photo of a flooded area...but that's it. There is no, or little, sense of fear. Remember the challenge, "Photograph something in such a way that it conveys a personal phobia or fear to the viewer. Try to make the viewer feel the emotion of the fear." The photo has a "snap shot" feel.
