Day-21,-Toronto-Canada.jpgby IvoryComment by JunieMoon: Nice combination of color and black and white. I like the soft treatment as well. Makes your main subject look almost like a guardian angel or something. Puts him out of phase with the rest of the image, almost indicating he is there but not seen, hence the guardian angel analogy. |

\"And the Beat Goes On\"by IvoryComment by ClubJuggle: This definitely needs to be rotated about a degree or two clockwise. I also feel like the two men on the left, and the police on the right, are battling for the viewer's attention. The men on the left are probably where your story is, if they were more in the frame. |

\"And the Beat Goes On\"by IvoryComment by muur88: your processing is interesting, though a bit over the top as you're starting to loose quality all over the place where you've dodged. segregating the 2 groups from the rest of the photo is also interesting, but i don't feel a strong connection between them. though the guy on the left does seem to have a vested interest in the police activities, i think his meaning needs to be a bit more overt to work. your escaping the quotes, i assume to get them into your title, seems odd as well. |

\"And the Beat Goes On\"by IvoryComment by ericwoo: Too much dodging and burning. The post-processing you chose alienates your subjects from the scene rather than making the viewer focus on them. It looks like you had a nice scene that you started with, but the processing really hurt this one. |

Gull.jpgby IvoryComment by Dantzr: Nice shot! Almost looks like it was painted instead of by camera. I guess some purists might say that using the rule of 3, the gull should be off center, but I love the way it is in the splash of light from above. Great shot. |
