The Momentby hardwaybetsComment by melismatica: I like the spontaneous capture but I would like to see this bigger. It's hard to get an idea of the image quality from this size. I don't like the sepia tone. I'd rather see this in truer black and white. |

The Momentby hardwaybetsComment by Artyste: A nice moment that isn't given justice by the treatment of the processing, or by the size of the photo. The sepia tone here does nothing for me but make it look a bit sickly. |

Shadows of a Miami Sunsetby hardwaybetsComment by rox_rox: Nice to meet you too. Just thought I'd pop in and say that I really liked this shot. It should have done better IMO. I gave it an 8. This is a tough site, though. Lots of competion. Keep up the good work. There are lots of great opportunities here in South FLA! |

The Momentby hardwaybetsComment by Konador: A nicely composed shot, however I feel the image is too flat, and it needs some contrast added to it to get the blacks actually black, and to make the skin tone variations show up better. Also it would be wise to use the full 640px limit in the future :) |

Shadows of a Miami Sunsetby hardwaybetsComment by pacpinto: I find the subject a bit too centered. Also, the other trees in the background form a distracting line that does not help. Maybe it would have been better to shoot closer to the palm tree. |

three chairs.jpgby hardwaybetsComment by BAMartin: The colors are very striking here, and the diagonal line of the chairs works very well. The saturation of the blues seems a bit muted for beach in the summer, I wonder if you could play with hies/saturation to make them really "pop"? |
