OK this is not a bad idea. Could I suggest a few things? Just my personal opinion to be read once before chucking. The number, your photo, the actual shirt and the closet all make sense together. If it was my chioce I would like to zone in on just those four visual items. There seems to be a comflict of colours among the yellowish closet, many hues among the shoeboxes and other clothes. Lots of colors are making my attention wander away from your intent. Could this have been expressed closer to your idea in B&W ? Do you need all of those closet items to express your idea? What do you think of a self portrait wearing the shirt with a big proud smile, for example? Or perhaps a spotlight upon the shirt as you handle it from the closet? This is a good effort. The idea is being communicated. Maybe just a few small changes to have a stronger personal message. I am glad that you entered this image just the same. It talks about a significant experience for you and that is what counts. Good luck and keep shooting!
