Still Holding Onby RamblinRComment by mycelium: This is my favorite photo of the challenge. I like that it's the weight of the tree that most strictly follows the rule of thirds, and the rest of the photo is unconstrained by an artificial need for literal compliance with a custom-cum-rule (even if it thus meets the challenge to a somewhat lesser degree). This is an artful work that is worthy of framing. |

Waiting for Layla to arriveby RamblinRComment by Ja-9: I have a mixed reaction to this...it's a wonderful time in your lives, but it's just not something that I need to see...I don't mean this offensively...I just think of this time as being private (I'm feeling very old right about now...lol) I will say it's an excellent picture, good clarity and lighting |

Still Holding Onby RamblinRComment by giantmike: Good use of a main subject that slowly drags the viewer's eyes through the scene, so they can eventually find the birds in the water. |

Dinner is Served by RamblinRComment by stantheman1313: One word describes this image for me: Balanced.
Simple yet elegant in the details. Love it. Could easily be a great stock image.
The one complaint that I have, and if I had voted I think it would have brought me down a point, is that the far left fork is a little bit higher than the one to the right. Kind of hurts the composition IMO.
In any case, you deserve the yellow. Excellent photo. |

Dinner is Served by RamblinRComment by Sibbie: Creative idea, but some technical things are distracting me: there are a bunch of specular highlights in the glass and you can see a lot of stuff from the studio reflecting in the spoons and the forks, as well as a highlight on your plate. Maybe try to use softer lighting and a reflector (like white foam core or something) to fill in where there are reflections. |
