This image is a clear favorite to take a ribbon. Strong, purposeful with no major flaws to speak of and the minor issues are not relevant to the image's overall impact. Crisp and sharp, the author made a concerted effort to compose and capture a mood that works very well - even the action of the cloth is perfect and the model's action and expression are perfect. An image with a lot of visual impact and detail. This would do well in any competition themed or not. A personal favorite of this reviewer. If there were any justice in the world, this would be a blue ribbon. Well done.

I love this photo even though it has a really staged feel to it (since the ground isn't moving and there's no wind in her hair you can tell the train is sitting still). I love the textures here and the red scarf is a great pop of color.

The thumbnail doesn't do this one justice. I thought they were oranges. Technicals are very good! Love the complimentary color for the bg. Only thing I can think of is maybe having that middle one (just as it is) next to a ripe good one with a bite out of it. It would give a comparison texture and variety of texture including the smoothness of the ripe apple and the grainy texture of the inside as well as the wrinkled old look of the rotting one. Just a thought. I like this one like it is too though.
