The only reason this isn't a ten for me is that I find it just a touch too dark. It would have been nice to get a bit more of the shape and texture of the pot. But other than that I love it. One of my favorites.

This is artfully done, and certainly suits the definition of still life. I'm wishing the surface were solid and not woodgrain. The lighting is good. I feel as if it has a touch of "chopped off" sense in the foreground. I wish the coffee items were pushed back with a bit more negative space in front of them. Still, it DOES meet the challenge which is something I can't say about more than half of them. LOL 7
