Contrast between the warm and cool colors here is great. Nice DOF while still focusing sharply on the subject. Only nag is that the top portion of the ice blends in too much with the white matter in the background.

This has the most incredible, wonderful range of tones. I love the perspective (which is good, since that's the challenge) but mostly I really like that person there. And the light on the stairs in excellent, especially since the stairs don't seem to actually go anywhere so highlighting them is perplexing and very much suits this photograph.
