Even though a nice picture I don't see the fire. Yes the title kind of makes the picture fit the challenge but I'm not seeing the sun (fire).

Well I know the DNMC folks have been putting you through the ringer. They have a point but I am sure you know that. It is a beautiful sky! Sky images like this I always shoot and keep but most of the time I think sky's don't have a focus I mean No subject. So its easy to get lost in a cloud. So with no fire too! You see where I am going? A mercy 5

Beautiful shot. I do not personally feel like it meets the challenge. However, if there is a "right" way to get a DNMC, this would be it. It is hard to put into different words what I mean, but I feel like while this photo fails to meet the challenge, it fails with grace - with thought to the challenge and not a blatent defiance of it. I am marking you down but not as much as I otherwise would because I do see where you put thought into the shot. Again, this is a beautiful photo - and one you should be very proud of.

nice capture but I'd prefer more of the trees included in this. there is so little they almost seem like an accident if you had more they would look like more a part of the scene. beautiful colors though.
