So that makes me think she's someone who's a little conflicted, like she stopped by to visit a grave on her way to a cocktail party.

It may be abit over the top in terms of appropriateness for the site, but I don't disagree with the need to challenge ourselves and those limits. That said, I dont particularly find the photo very good, either technically or artistically.

1) overexposed, hair and leg and arm are blown out.
2) there could be more DOF to make her reaching arm more detailed.
3) model should be appealing and arousing feelings. this isn't.
it's not shocking and etc. it's just not art.

beautiful photo, my friend. i was reading through some of the insane comments but had to stop because of the sheer ignorance. art is subjective. period. there is no questioning that. yet all these cornballs wanna shoot u down saying that this photo is "porn" or trash. i think most people are so used to having "normality" defined for them they can't freakin think for themselves and outside of the tiny box our smallminded society has created for us!!!
personally i would like to have seen more contrast. granted it's ur vision and u portray it how u like.

B&W tones work well for this shot, but I wish that the model's eyes were a bit more open.
