What a wonderful sunset! This photo is very good, one I would put on my wall at home. I am not sure it meets the "From Above" challenge though as the shot is a horizontal one.

Great portrayal of textures and natural colors. This is especially impressive in a single piece of wood. I think the framing is good, but might improve the effect of the picture if the lighter brown circle was placed on the bottom right corner. It would give a little room for the circle to open up to. I'm not sure how to describe it exactly. Maybe I'm way off anyway... Nice shot whatever the case

Challenge: Definitely met the challenge! About as yellow as you can get!

Technique: The water would have been a great effect if you had focused some light on it. The drops will become much more pronounced with better lighting. I also think you would have had better results on a dark background, with the pepper off-centered.

Overall: A great shot that just needs some minor cleaning up.

Always intersting to see an effectively black and white composition in full colour, especially digital - shows how critical white balance can be. Like the framing, and the grouping, but the highlights are a little over-exposed for me - could have been a half stop less. 7

I don't know exactly what it is, but I love this shot! Maybe the sharp contrast between the eggs and the background, or the subtle shadows. Nice!
