This could be a very amazing photo if not for the overprocessing, The shadows created from the processing take away from the photo and make it look like a copy of a newspaper photo.

Great photo! My only problem is, being familiar with this magazine, they don't have photographic covers. It's been a drawing every time I've seen it, and I just been to their website and found the same to be true.

While I've never seen anything quite like this on HiglLights, in a special edition perhaps I can imagine it. The photo is fairly well suited towards the topic, although a bit shy on cover-copy space, though I think that's less of an issue for Highlights. I wish given the colourful Ferris Wheel you could have gotten a more colourful firework, but it's still nice.

Nice, though isn't Highlights usually a drawn cover? I don't think it usually has photos on it does it? I like this photo, could definitely see it on the front of a cover. i don't like the border though, I don't think it helps, and I'm not sure many magazines have a border. Nice night photo though... I think it's definitely well done.
