You loose some details during this shot, which may come both from the lighting or expoure. The composition is nice, though it looks unnatural blue. WB is a nice tool to help you in this race, but I think it was overused here.

The pegs tend to blend into each other a bit too much unfortunately, which probably isn't helped by it being slightly out of focus. A good idea though.

The bad thing about these guys is they're ability to conceal themselves in their surroundings. He's quite the colorful character but he blends too well with his background. Maybe a much shallower DOF shot based on his head would provide a bit more separation. All that said, he's darn cute, and I like your choice of "wildlife".
