Papillon Profileby PaigeComment by goodtempo: cropping 1/5 or 1/4 of the left side of the picture might make it better. good depth of field on the dog and interesting camera angle. more of the eyes is always better on animals. |

Papillon Profileby PaigeComment by Natasha: Lovely focus on the nose and chin, he looks so soft! The subject here is brown instead of blue, but I love dogs and I love his expression! |

Papillon Profileby PaigeComment by sylandrix: A dog picture that's at least somewhat related to the challenge :) Nice composition, dog is exposed well, even caught a gleam in his eye. Nicely done. |

Milk Chocolate in Bloomby PaigeComment by just-married: Very nice. I love the framing sirst and foremost. The chocolate decision really works for you here. Sets this photo apart from other flower macros; makes you appreciate things in the photo other than a pretty flower. Your DOF is great; really defines the flower versus the background even though their colors are similar. The texture, the softness of the flower is wonderful and the crown adds a good point of interest for the eye. In my top 5 for the week. 10, just-married |

Milk Chocolate in Bloomby PaigeComment by FranziskaLang: challenge -- met, fitting title technical -- nice sharpness, the stamen are just a little bit too bright in some places, but not too distracting. composition -- nice crop on the flower. not sure why you changed the colors that way, but i guess i could get used to it ... may have to look at it a few more times. -- gr8photos |
