I really liked this and thought it should have scored higher (I was one of your 8's). Good close framing and DOF. I disagree that more color saturation is called for; the greenish cast is interesting but may have bothered some voters. Very good subject for the challenge!

Great catch lights in the eyes and focus is spot on. I might have liked the composition more with less negative space on the left side, but still is a very nice shot and think you did a great job with the shot.

Why is it so skew? I can't see real reason for it, the idea to make a frame from the fence is great and creative, but with using a bit stronger tele you could filter much more disturbing detail and concentrate on the building itself stronger.
