It's a shame your arms couldn't have disappeared more, and the legs just a little more. Still a very good shot. Worth an 8. PTL | Photographer found comment helpful. |

this picture sets a nice mood! i like where you are going with it. compositionally, it is nice--i like the lines leading straight down from belly button, and across by the waist band, as well as the juxtaposition of the hands. i might have liked to have seen a little more skin up top...perhaps a more upwards shot of the torso to put the jeans towards the bottom part of the frame might have given it an even more sensuous feel. something about photographing human anatomy--one of the best parts is the lines and shadows the human body creates. so, a less tight crop and some dramatic lighting around the torso to bring out some interesting shadows would have been awesome. technically, you did a great job---the focus is great and the post processing is wonderful! personally, tho, i think that (only my opinion of course)the desaturated skin tone is kind of awkward here--i applaud the idea for this challenge, and it is a very cool effect, but it almost makes the photograph less appealing---i dunno, something about grey skin! ;) but even then, i think that with some interesting lighting, you could make it appealing! all in all you did a really nice job here, and obviously have great creativity. keep up the good work! |

I am glad I didn't as I am pretty sure your capture would be better.
I'd actually prefer this if the skin was not desaturated. Makes the model look a bit, well, zombie-like!
Nice composition - it, ahem, certainly leads your eyes/ mind to what is about to be revealed! LOL |
