Night Riderby marboComment by olimpiada: Experimentation is good! To me it's a bit over-saturated, but that might be what you're looking for. There might be a little too much going on with lights and colors. For instance, I don't think the green lines below add to the overall image. Hope this helps. |

Night Riderby marboComment by DChap: i don't feel like the green light scribble adds anything to your image. the lighting makes his face look really flat. |

Night Riderby marboComment by tanguera: FABULOUS lighting. I'm going to have to try some light painting myself. Very compelling image. I just started voting but this is going to do well, I think. |

Cotton Candy by marboComment by marbo: Originally posted by overboard: Hi, you say that white balance can't be set in d50... do you mean that I cant set a custom white balance with an ir filter using the nikon d50? thanks, Lauri |
Hi, you can`t do a custom white balance with the ir filter fitted on the D40.
You can with the D50 which you have. The D50 is must easier for ir than D40. Just set custom WB to sunlit grass with the filter on for perfect brown colours like this
Then swap the blue/red channels for colours like this |
