But you seem to be unhappy about this, because of some comments about the model in the pic. Let me tell you from the point of view of someone who has been around anorexic women. She is anorexic. Period. When you can see someones bones throughout most of their body, that is anorexic. Second thing, if her tits and ass were that nice, maybe you should have shown them instead, that probably would have gotten you less negative comments on this. Third, if you call me a fat ass couch potato again, I will report it and push to get you suspended from this site. No one gave a personal attack against you or your pic, so back off. Finally, when you put a pic on public display, don't expect every comment to be positive. If you can't handle the negative, then don't post a pic anymore. No one is making you do it. Enjoy your damn win, and get over your stuck up egotistical self pal. No need to respond, I won't read it anyway. |

The sculpturing of her pose and the light choice is very artistic albeit 'Alienish'. I am most certain many people can assume peculiar poses that aren't necessarily flattering, but interesting.
It won for a reason. Not your ordinary fare. Favs! | Photographer found comment helpful. |

You have a picture that invokes some to make comments that she is too thin or looks anorexic and it upsets you. IMO noone INSULTED you or your model. When you put a picture on public display, you have to know that you will get bad and good comments. And I'll say it again...none of the comments I've seen are even remotly "insulting".
Let's say that you had this picture in an art museum and many people were commenting out loud. 10 people said the image is beautiful but 2 other people said..."she looks anorexic" or "she needs to eat a cheeseburger"...would you call those commenters out and tell them their comments were out of line?

"I have seen anorexic girls, they have no tits, no ass, bones coming out from everywhere. Romy is far from this, she's got one of the nicest breast I've seen and a wonderful round peachy ass.
Now....... she might be one so called anorexic for some fat ass couch potatoes from this site. Those people will regognize themselves"
There were a few comments about the anorexic look but none that I would say is "mean" or outright insulting. The few that commented on that aspect are just commenting on what the shot "said" to them....and that's what comments are all about. |
OK, I'll go straight to the point:
"you need to put a cheeseburger in her hand!!"
"This model looks anorexic and would probably be thrown out as a ramp model in Europe"
I don't know about you, but I find this mean. Just try to put yourself in HER position. Again, I invite anybody to criticize the concept / technique / idea of my shots, and that's what I'm here for. But when it comes to just throw some of the aforementioned comments, I just find it out of place. Simple as that. | Message edited by author 2007-03-26 12:28:21. |

I must confess that I didn't find the time to vote, but I did browse the photos and this one really stuck out!
I also feel compelled to say that I'm really surprised to see some of the comments people make. I would have thought that some amateurish professionality would be in order since,in my books, you should never comment on the model, per se, when judging a photo. But I suppose that in a community as large as this there are bound to be some rotten apples.
Not only is it rude and ignorant to judge someone solely by an artistic photograph(since we all know photos can be deciving), but it's also hurtful and mean.
Keep up the good work, man. You are lucky to have such a talented model on your side, both of your skills complement each others. | Photographer found comment helpful. |

I've been liking your other work since you joined the site. I didn't vote on this image as I don't vote on challenges I don't enter. I would have scored this a 10 with no hesitation. However; I think your offense to some of the comments is unwarranted. Only the one about "ramp models" would I see as even slightly offensive. You'll find most of the comments about anorexia or "she should eat something" are from people who seem to care for the health of the model. You really didn't think you could place such an exotic image of the human form here and not get some unusual comments, did you???? You selected for this pose consciously I'm sure. So sit back and enjoy your success! |
