Seriously though, I have seen many of this street sleepers in most of the cities I have visited or lived in. I, myself, have tried sleeping on cardboard in some of the homeless dens of the world but found the smell of feces unbearable. |

Very very interesting! What an amazing site! I would have loved to have seen this in person. I have never been out of the United States, much less Africa. I am so jealous.
I think that you have captured this scene very well. The purple tones of the sky are magical. The mountain is very interesting as well. It has great texture and seems to change color either from the skies reflection or manipulated by you...doesn't matter...its cool! The subject for the challenge was a good one! I also feel that this image has alot of appeal to it.
The one thing that I might have done differently would have been the crop. Now, I am not an expert or claim to be. I do not photograph landscapes either. This is just my opinion. I would have zoomed in closer to the mountain and let IT take up about 1/2 or 3/4 of the frame. Cropping it just a little bit above the highest peak of the mountain. The reason is because, I personally find the colors and texture of the mountain more appealing than the sky. The sky is beautiful, but for me, the clouds do not seem to hold enough of my interest to take up more than half of the frame.
I hope that this was helpful. Please forgive my spelling..I am just a hick from Tennessee. LOL

Rusticby TOYComment by Phil: I like it. Good color. Maybe a bit less DOF in the background but it's a very nice shot. Good job |
