I feel that the stones(?) are too warm a colour for this shot to really impact. I hope you don't mind but I had a quick experiment with this photo by desaturating everything but the shoot, and then adjusting the colour balance to provide more blue in the highlights and shadows, and a touch more cyan and blue in the mids. This then needs NeatImage to remove the noise. To my taste this then packs a lot more punch, emphasising the vibrant shoot coming through the inert, lifeless stones. This is all DPC legal. Other than that, it's a great shot! 8

Great repetition.
The overall composition is excellent and grabbed my attention.
The lighting is good, but something more on the back of the chairs might have bumped this up yet another notch.

I think this is a great take on the topic of "life". It isn't overdone like so many others, while at the same time it is very simple. Great composition and perfect use of depth of field. Good work.
