Pasta salad with grilled vegetableby sahkoComment by jas0420: Nice pic! I think I would have liked to have seen some silverware rather than the raw ingredients though. I understand where you were going with it, but you obviously spent a lot of time preparing the beautiful dish to the right... I'm finding that I'm paying more attention to the onion and red bell pepper wayyyyy over at the other side of the pic though, which (in my mind at least!) isn't really intended to be the main subject. Another possibility might have been to bring the main dish into the frame more with the ingredients behind but blurred a bit with a shallow DOF set on the dish to really make it stand out. |

Pasta salad with grilled vegetableby sahkoComment by ChrisW123: Love the layout of all the different foods all over the table, the uncooked noodles in the background, etc., very good. The shot maybe needs a little more light on the dish itself. |

Uncovered curvesby sahkoComment by frisca: very beautiful skin, but the disembodied bottom disturbs me somehow. I wish i could see a whole person here, even if the main focal point is the bum. lighting is nice however! :) |

Pasta salad with grilled vegetableby sahkoComment by faidoi: Looks delicious. Great colors in the shot. I like how you arranged all the ingredients around the plate that you used in the salad. The composition is rather interesting because of the colors. Lighting seems to be stronger on the ingredients then the finished food. This would make for a good cover for a cookbook. Great job. |

Pasta salad with grilled vegetableby sahkoComment by Gracious: Nice use of colour, good dof, and I like the subject. The cheese, is it ricotta? It is a bit oe. It's a tough one to get right, prolly shoulda left it out of the pic. I'm not crazy about the composition. Maybe because it is cut down too close to the middle. The place may is a distraction. The wooden bg would work better. I think you may have used it to define two parts: ingredients and finished dish. I think more cohesion would be effective. |

Uncovered curvesby sahkoComment by visitor: Ah Hmmmmmm!!
Yes, definatley exposed. Nicely lit and composed looks like a bit of Neat Image PP done here - such smooth skin tones. |
