It's funny, sad and odd, how a photograph which excites some of us is 'averaged' by so many.

I've never commented on the rule of thirds before, but in this instance your centering of the subject just doesn't feel right. When I first looked at it with the bottom cropped off (off the screen) it looked much better!

but you should have left the flag uncolored, the beauty is in the stark contrast between the sky/ the water/ and the lone sloop
