Wildfireby crabappl3Comment by JPR: I can't believe this scores so low. I gave it a 10. Going in my favorites immediately. |

Wildfireby crabappl3Comment by KevinRiggs: I'm not terribly fond of the reddish cast that I perceive on my monitor but that's just a matter of taste. You cropped this composition well and you've managed to convey the action of both horse and rider. Good, solid darks on most of the horse's body and while some of the rider's tones stand out more she (?) can be more easily selected against the background. Good job. |

Wildfireby crabappl3Comment by dsidwell: She ran callin' 'Wiiiiiiildfire.' (from the song?) She looks like she's having fun! And bare back to boot! I like the mood and feel in this photo. I do wish it were a bit lighter directly behind the horse and girl, and you might try framing/cropping so that the horse has more room in front of its face to 'run'. Nice work. |

Wildfireby crabappl3Comment by Kanntara: Nice capture!!! I like the colors and the movement. I have two favorites from this challenge and this is one of them. I think the only problem I might have with this is that everything is centered. I would have to see how this picture looked if the horse was not centered. I'm just not sure about that! But I do LOVE This photo. 10! |

Wildfireby crabappl3Comment by Pedro: Galloping bareback? I'm impressed. anyway I'm sure you'll get knocked by other because there's still some detail in the horse/girl. I think it's still clearly in the spriit of the challenge, and is a great image. I might have cropped it so that there was a little more space in front of the horse. movement can be blocked by centre crops like this sometimes. love the catchlights in the mane/tail/hair. a little burning of the sky might bring some detail back in the blown out parts of the trees too (but that's nit-picking i know). She will love this one when she's older :)
