I'm not sure it's a really good subject for the challenge (I mean, they aren't exactly speedy objects that have to be captured at a lightning fast shutter speed)... but this is an otherwise AWESOME shot! I love the colors!

I rated you higher than the other hot air balloon image because I really love the composition and the colors of yours. The problem for me with this image is that I know those balloons were moving, but not very fast and they're pretty far away from the photographer. That means you could have totally stopped them with a shutter speed of 1/16th of a second or less. To me, stopped motion would have been something that, even when stopped, infers motion - and it probably took 1/250th of a second or faster to accomplish. Just my opinion. Good luck with the challenge.

lovely!!!! Colours just splash from my screen here!! I like the see-through especially and the sharpness and brightness of the balloons! The right balloon being just that bit bigger than the left one, compensates for the centred composition keeping it from being boring. You've got yourself a 10!
