Wow - this is a good building for contrast, isn't it? Not sure about the trees though - they seem a bit unreal, from what I assume is the result of processing. Although, the trees as they are included in the composition is very engaging - the varying heights and how they continue past the frame (not seen whole) lend more visual interest to the shot.

Tee hee. This is really a cool photo. There's such ambiance and mood here. I love it! But I think its so funny the way those poor diners look so. . .so. . .well. . .just not too happy. Usually when I'm out to eat with my hubby, we're chatting away and solving the world's problems, but they just look like maybe they'd just as soon be doing something else, huh? I really like the Americana red checkered table cloth too :)

I like it better with the lady on the right. Having her there, and slightly in motion, gives the shot a lot of life, in my opinion. The other version is nice, but a bit more sterile. And you have quite the knack for these candids! I love them! How are you doing your conversion? The results are excellent!

Beautiful candid in a restaurant. I like the slight movement (in the hands). The B/W is very good.
