No Snowby AliciaComment by tinky2: Wow, thanks for the information. I love seeing coyotes, but then worry about the kitties. Very green and lovely sky. |

Henna by AliciaComment by SandyP: How interesting, Alicia! I love the extreme range of tones from bright whites, to grays, to pure blacks. The contrast is amazing!

Henna by AliciaComment by Sonifo: I was just telling my daughter about this..didn't realize the name.. why get a permanent tatoo when you can get this. Excellent contrast! |

Henna by AliciaComment by colorcarnival: Hi Alicia - I love how a lot of your photos have this hint of new age/spiritual themes. I love looking at all the details in the designs. And then it's capped off with the artistic bracelets. Did you get any of this ink on your shutter button? lol
Just a thought for you. Something that might be fun. Put a vignette around this to darken the area around the hands. I'm just picturing a spotlight effect on the hands so that nothing else distracts from the artwork.
Fun picture! |

Henna by AliciaComment by Hipychik: I really like this in b/w. Very cool! I like the dark fabric with the white design on it with this. |

Henna by AliciaComment by Ecce_Signum: ok, having read the photographers comments on your profile version (which I actually prefer but guess its a duotone?) I see they are your hands and yes, it can be difficult if your setting the shot up yourself. When I'm doing sp's I tend to keep the cam close enough to trip with the wired remote and take a couple of test shots and check composition etc before switching the lens to manual focussing. Photographing your hands would be a bit more ticky but you could arrange your pose with one hand using the other to focus using the wired remote then use the timer function and recompose your hands?
I do feel your pose here looks a little awkward thus not natural. Do you wear it until it wears off or do you wash it off? |

Beach Dreamsby AliciaComment by posthumous: This is so unreal. I love the fluffy abyss that runs all the way down the middle of this image and threatens to absorb it completely. |

Ripple Cloudsby AliciaComment by Mr_Pants: Great silhouette, although I feel that the extreme lower portion of the photo is a little redundant. Brilliant capture of the lighting and the cloud formation. |
