Lifeguardby AliciaComment by scooter97: The lens baby is really effective here. There is enough clarity to give the info needed to know what the image is, and the blur is perfect for the negative space. |

Lifeguardby AliciaComment by cogerox: Looks like a cold and lonely job. I do like the high key b&w processing. |

Lifeguardby AliciaComment by Jutilda: Great example of minimalism and high contrast. There is just enough for us to know exactly what's going on. I'm sure I've told you what a sucker I am for lifeguard stands. Dad was on at Huntington Beach in CA back in the day, so I get all nostalgic when I see them. This is a GREAT image. |

Lifeguardby AliciaComment by Kelli: With a very light touch, I can see a bit in the sand. Lovely shot, so lonely! Just a man and his bird. ROFL! That didn't sound right. Anyway, it truely is so very pretty! |

Bridge Thingby AliciaComment by vlado: "What is it? I can't make it out. The title... "Bridge Thing"? What? Does that help? Not really. Perhaps it's a bridge with something hanging from it? But what? And is it a bridge?"
This is what went through my head when I saw this. I love photos that make me thing... as long as they're aesthetically pleasing enough to make me want to keep investigating it... and this ticks all those boxes. Well done... again. |

Calico Jackby AliciaComment by vlado: Oh... this one is even better than the other one. Has the same links/story, but the perspective of the ship, and the patterns in the water make this even more aesthetically pleasing than the previous on. Outstanding shots and processing. |

Sea Roverby AliciaComment by vlado: This is why I like your photos so much. So artistic. So natural. I love that the reflections almost look like those of a tree or forest, linking the ship to the materials from which it's made (probably not... ship's probably all steel, aluminium and fiberglass... but anyway... seemed link a link). |
