Gives me the feeling REAL work is going on here. Lighting, darks, lights, contrast are effective at taking my eye exactly where you want it to go. Good work.

I think you have the right idea but it (blurry part) needs to be on both sides of the featured area (I'm not sure) and either your blurry part on the bottom just isn't strong enough to be all that visible
