This photo brought out many feelings recalled from my youth, from back in the 1970's. I little lost, a bit disconnected, not being a child but not yet accepted as an adult, worry about my complection, desire for adventure, and not allowed the independence I wanted.

Thanks for a great photo! I feel a lot of empathy for him.

I really like the tone you chose for this. For me though, my eye is first drawn more toward his hair than his face due to the DOF.

Lots of image grain here, but it seems to me as if it is obscuring the image in a way. Not sure what to suggest.
