Mother & Childby manic35Comment by lil_mo: I like they they are wearing similar outfits. I think though that the white shirts against the white background blend a little too much, especially on the mother's back. Myabe grey shirts.. or a grey or slightly textured background... or just some burning where the shirt lines are. I think compositionally this would be more grounded if the foot was not cut off. Also, and this is a nit-picky thing, I can see quite a bit of pixelation on the white background- not counting that against you, just thought I'd mention it... I can only see it because I recently calibrated my monitor, otherwise I would have never known. 6 |

Mother & Childby manic35Comment by igoofry: Nice capture. My wife would probably give you an "Ahhhh, that's cute". I like the lighting and the pose. I guess my only criticism would be the cut off foot. Otherwise a very nice image. |

Mother & Childby manic35Comment by Jaded_Housewife: I like the composition of this but not the glow on the baby's face that would be better if it were sharp and the movement from the foot looks odd but not as much as the blurry baby face. 5 |

Mother & Childby manic35Comment by Brad: Very soft & tender, just the way this should come across.
Very nice choice for a black & white too.
I'm not sure what's with her left foot, as it almost looks like her toes are negative. Maybe she has a deformity. Maybe my eyes are egtting old. Regardless, I won't won't cast judgement or take anything away because of it and will wait to see after the challenge is over.
Well done! |
