Low Key Dadby TimComment by Jutilda: This is quite nice but what I'm missing is some highlights. The midtones and darker tones are great but there isn't much contrast. I love the focus and the placement in the shot. Some layers adjustments might fix it right up. He almost has a young Hemmingway look about him. Overall, well done, just a little tweaking would make it perfect for me. ;~D |

guthega-lake.jpgby TimComment by marbo: Yes a great view. Seems a little tilted to the right if you look at the building and not very sharp but easily corrected. |

tackle.jpgby TimComment by Judi: Very nice action shot. The composition with the use of the two diagonals controlling the viewers eye right into the middle. Well done. |

Low Key Dadby TimComment by Judi: Awesome portrait. I like the tones right down to the glasses on his head. |

mumbula-fallsby TimComment by PHOTOKID: I love long exposure waterfalls, as you will see if you look into my wanted folder. Few things I want to mention about your photo: The photo overall hass a nice feel of surrealism, the water is nice and silky, and also give good depth to the photo. The horizon at the top of the waterfall seems slightly tilted to me and the rocks and objects around the waterfall is slightly soft and thhe color is abborated. (could try to fix in photoshop?). One thing I really like about this shot is the reflection of the rock you captured in the lower right hand corner.

Low Key Dadby TimComment by mpeters: I like the casualness of this portrait, along with the detached feel i get from the subject, like he doesn't know or care that he is being shot. Maybe a touch more light from camera left would have bumped the contrast slightly and given it more punch. NOt sure!??? |
