I really enjoy your set-up. It looks like you took some time to plan this out. The background is fitting, and the props add a lot. If you had diffused the flash a bit, I think it would've been even better. My husband made a cheap flash diffuser using a small piece of plastic milk carton. Sounds crazy but it works great! You can find out how online. :) Commenting only.

I see what you're going for, but it took me about three minutes, literally, to notice the ring. My attention is just pulled to the upper left. An off camera flash to the left of the camera and a bit above, as well as a tighter crop, might have helped a bit.
