This is a great subject and I would love the chance to shoot this. You haven't made the most of this opportunity IMO though. The composition is to central and the light very plain.

You could get lower and make more of the great rocks in the foreground and shoot either at dawn or dust and get some great light into the scene.

Taht's really good. The leading lines of the boat work for the composition. The lighting and colours just work so well too. Of all things the yellow rocks really add something to this
