The closer crop is great and also that the baby has a bit more color. The image over all is very nice. One thing is that the focus seems a tad soft and not amount of sharpening can fix that. One the other hand, a soft focus here is totally appropriate and is a personal preference issue. To me, this image is stronger than the original since the subject takes up more of the frame. Good job.

I like your perspective - very cool. Good duotone entry. For me personally, I wish it were a bit sharper, but I'm one who likes crisp photos. I also like the lines and symmetry of the negative space in the upper right and lower left. Good eyes.

This is really nice -- the kind of thing (lines, repetition, everyday objects rendered interesting through the lens) I was thinking I'd photograph often when I bought my camera, but haven't. Great seeing, and a good capture.
