YIPPIE - KI- AYby cheegirlComment by olddj: Nicely done, ONLY thing I can see/think of that distracts - and very little - is the dapple is too centered, think it may have been a LITTLE better with the horse more on the right third, with more scenery on left, running INTO the photo, so to speak, love the capture |

All That Remainsby cheegirlComment by sfalice: Greetings from the Critique Club
You certainly chose a fine subject for this Challenge. It works well in monochromatic mode too.
I have a couple of thoughts for you. First. The structure (Silo?) is almost there. I'd like to see the top of it as well. A viewer tends to want to complete the image, and in this case, is stopped a bit short.
Then, it would be good to see something that was a bit more in focus. Either a part of the structure or a tree. Just something to give a viewer something to hang on to.
Finally, an old favorite in our Camera Club, Border Patrol. Perhaps by moving a bit to the left, that partial tree to the right side of your image would be eliminated. (Now, if you moved over there and there was a big pit or something, you can tell me to go jump in it, instead...)
Seriously, you have a good image here that fits the Challenge. It wouldn't take much tweaking to make it really good.
Keep up the good work. |

YIPPIE - KI- AYby cheegirlComment by srdanz: Nice stop-action. It looks like it is going to fall down. No panning effect, though, but it is hard to get the best of two worlds - you obviously picked shorter exposure for a better freeze frame. There is a problem, with the sky and the trees in the top-left. That is bringing some point deductions. |

YIPPIE - KI- AYby cheegirlComment by Jutilda: I wish this magnificent animal were less centered - with lots of grassy area either in front of or behind him. Love the sense of movement. |

YIPPIE - KI- AYby cheegirlComment by temba: What a huge, huge shame the horse's ears are back. For me that just spoils what is otherwise a good capture. |
