I keep coming back to this which alone makes it worth a little bump up. Simple but elegant and outside the box, and I love textured photos even if sometimes they break a lot of the 'rules' of 'engaging photography'. What I love here is you've managed to adhere to those rules with the unusual plane of focus and in turn created quite an ethereal and unusual image. Love the colours too.

I really like the way the lighting has turned out in this shot, although my eye is struggling to find a sharp object to focus on as the lights are a little fuzzy and nothing else is grabbing me. I think the overall exposure is very cool though.

Despite the title... I'm not a big fan of this for the Stillness challenge. There's some tough competition in this one. Good luck though, and I look forward to experimenting myself with Christmas tree lighting as it creates a really nice glow here!

Simple, perhaps too much so for a free study and yet it's Christmas and the way you captured the lights behind in the background is just perfect. Perhaps santa's face could be a tad lighter. Love it!
