The Wind Stopped Hereby ElaineComment by Matt414ce: I'm not sure what it is about the image, but it seems oversharpened or perhaps as if the focus was just a tad off and corrected in post processing. |

Spaghettiby ElaineComment by Louis: Should have placed higher. As metatate says, very classic, and beautifully done. The vignetting makes it, adding drama to what could be (but definitely is not in this example) a prosaic picture. Lovely. Message edited by author 2006-07-24 10:15:42. |

---by ElaineComment by e301: Actually this is more interesting than at first sight: the negative quality of it tends to overpower that I think: the fact that an almost believeable 'real' definition still exists in the poles just brings that extra element to it. The tiny bit of wire bottom left is a shame, but presumably just a little oversight. |

---by ElaineComment by RayEthier: Very well done indeed. You managed to take something that we see and essentially ignore on a daily basis and turn it into a very captivating image.
My only quibble with the image is the presence of the very small line at the extreme lower left of the photo, as it is an unnecessary distraction.
Kudos on a well thought out and executed image... it should do well. |
