I just love that type of charming, quaint architecture. I'm not crazy about beds and breakfasts, but I think I would love to stay there. No, I think I'd rather LIVE there :) I love the contrasting styles of the architectures with that high rise in the background.

I didn't vote in this challenge, so I'm just now seeing this photo for the first time. Looks like a hideous storm! Hope you and your family didn't end up with lasting damage from it.
As a photo, the composition isn't bad, and the colors/focus are very sharp. There is something that feels a little "smooshed" about it, but maybe that was your intent? If not, a bit more sky would help open it up IMO. Must have been one cold photo op :-)

I would bet that the house has some kind of history associated with it. It looks a lot better than the condos.
