Mom..... let´s goby bmarquezComment by blindjustice: The title is a bit stetchy-but the composition and colors are Nice. I love the pipe that runs thru the shot. THis is unique because despite the child pictured prominently in the photo, it still does not appear to be a "portrait" at all... |

Mom..... let´s goby bmarquezComment by skylen: Great shot. Nice even lighting on the face, interesting facial expression. Only, it's too bad the child was hacked off at the knees, that kind of hurt the composition. I wonder if a portrait-orientation shot of just the child (a little less empty space) would be even better. |

Mom..... let´s goby bmarquezComment by periwinkle: what a cuties :) the slightly off parallel lines are a bit distracting - perhaps the angle could be improved a bit (like the child would let you - lol) - overall an interesting image! |

Mom..... let´s goby bmarquezComment by justine: For me a tighter crop would of worked better for this shot. The boy is the main subject and the rail/building are a distraction. It's a clean, good photo. |

Secret gardenby bmarquezComment by melismatica: This is a nice shot with potential to be excellent. I would like to be able to see what it is the boy is doing in order to really connect with him (since we can't see his face, his actions are all we have to draw us in). The subject and his surroundings are nicely framed and there is a good amount of detail and in the foliage and bark. The boy's shirt has some nice texture and the color harmonizes well with the otherwise monochromatic scheme. This is where I come back to wishing you had waited to get a shot showing more of the action. There is just enough red showing on that fishing net that I wish you had arranged it so a little more showed to add more striking contrast. I don't really see how it meets the criteria for serendipity, however. |

Secret gardenby bmarquezComment by beckettboots: I like this photo - it tells a nice story about the kid. I like that his back is to us, it makes it more universal. I think the contrast could be bumped up a bit, but the composition is nice with the tree and the child dividing the frame. |
