I like this shot and gave it a 7. The countryside looks like it might be vast, and I think I would like the shot better if I could see more of the landscape. The land on the sides of the road is a little dark, and the road is cut off by the hill -- doesn't lead anywhere. I like the truck, which lends to the rural aspect of the image.

When I first looked at this photo, my thought was "almost brilliant." I say "almost" because the sky looks a little oversaturated, and the truck is not bright enough to draw the eye in. I wonder how it would look with just a bit of dodging on the truck...

I really like the composition here, and sense of desolation mixed with beauty of sunset.

I've seen a few of these and they make me cross-eyed. My eyes are pulled into the BG by the overall composition and simultaneously to the foreground by the focus. I wonder if a slightly wider DoF would help, or maybe focusing slightly farther into the frame.
