What a contrast between that arid earth and the rich blue of the sky! Unfortunately, for me, the lower half of the image is lacking a focal point or something to hold my interest - whether that's a tree or person or building or just an unusual curve of hills. The placement of the horizon is also very centred making it even more static a composition.

Fun action shot. Wonderful color and details. While I like the overall compositional elements, maybe perhaps a different stroke pose? Just a thought. Still wonderful shot and it looks like a lot of fun.
