The Flow of Color Under Iceby KivetComment by DrAchoo: If the whole shot could be like the center of the image, I think you'd have an amazing abstract. As it is, I think the large, uniform brown sections don't go over as well. |

The Flow of Color Under Iceby KivetComment by MrsFuzzButt: Well, I gave you a 6. It is a very nice abstract image, but when compared to some of the higher scoring ones it just doesn't have the same appeal. While I enjoy abstract images, this one was just nice as opposed to beautiful. It certainly fit the challenge and was a technically sound photo. I can only think that maybe if the grass was more obvious and therefore gave the photo one thing voters could have recognized they might have liked it more. Overall, I have noticed that the more abstract the image is, the worse it does here. |

The Flow of Color Under Iceby KivetComment by cpanaioti: I like water effects like this. To me the ripples look like an animal of some sort riding the water from right to left with its mouth open. There is a very clear white area that looks like an eye due to the black spot it contains.
I didn't vote on this challenge though can see the low votes related more to the challenge topic rather than the quality of the image. |

Turtlesby KivetComment by Prism: Really like the composition and the colours on the white background. A shraper focus may have improved this shot. |
