Cooperation by jeroweComment by posthumous: Wonderful portrait. Hints of Arbus, but more of a portrait than Arbus. In Arbus, the subjects seem more interested in the camera than anything else. Here, we have subjects interacting with each other. |

Cooperation by jeroweComment by ubique: This is a classically good photograph. Classical because it really could (setting aside the clothing) be from anytime from the late 19th century to the early 21st ΓΆ€“ and hopefully someone will still be doing this in another 100 years.
It's technically good ... sometimes that matters, and this is such a time. It's natural, and doesn't look like the product of some tacky 'action' in digital post-processing. It's humanistic, without being sentimental. It's witty, without being heavily-laboured. There are a lot of renowned photographers, even in places like this, that would be pleased to have this in their portfolio. I'd sure be pleased to have it in mine, but the best I can do is to add it to my favorites and award it the Order of the Thumb:

Cooperation by jeroweComment by K3Master: He looked at her, and he sighed, and he wondered how he ever wanted one of these. He'd begged for a baby sister. Tommy had had one and he loved her so, and at first it had been really great.
He had held her and hugged her and kissed her and she mostly just slept and looked cute and everyone told him what a great big brother he was.
He looked at her, and he sighed. Why couldn't she just be happy? This was taking too long and he wanted to play Wii, and she just.. wouldn't.. stop.
He wondered why he ever wanted one of these. |

Cooperation by jeroweComment by ThingFish: Superb shot. That little boy on the left reminds me of the little boy in the Robbie Williams video clip "Tripping"

Cooperation by jeroweComment by Dr.Confuser: Fantastic composition and setting for this. Love the details inthe couch and the moment you caught. Vignette works well and I like the dark lower frame effect. |
