Portrait on Yellowby KaizerComment by KarenNfld: Nice gaze on her face. Not sure the background works, I can see a shadow from her head, a clean background is always nice. |

Portrait on Yellowby KaizerComment by TooCool: You need to isolate your model from the background more. Moving her away from the background is the easiest way to do this. You will minimize the shadow like you have here. It will also be easier to through the bg out of focus.

Portrait on Yellowby KaizerComment by GeneralE: It would be nice to get rid of the rest of the shadow on the wall, but when I've tried on mine it doesn't turn out that well anyway. |

Portrait on Yellowby KaizerComment by Tej: I feel this beautiful face could have been captured better with diffused lighting. Lighting seem to be little harsh and focus is soft. Its still a nice photo and honest attempt. 7. |

Night-ambush-triggered.jpgby KaizerComment by xianart: terrifying to think this is what my husband went through too. he was sap in the late '80s/early 90's. in kzn. hated it. hated who he was through it. it's amazing to think that when i was starting university, he was in a war zone. lovely pics all through. this is just where i happened to comment. |

Portrait on Yellowby KaizerComment by JunieMoon: The shadow kills this portrait. Subject should be placed further from the background, and any shadows can be covered up with a reflecting board positioned so it is directed at the shadow. Model was very attractive, though, and you did a wonderful job on creating a nice skin tone. |
