Chocolate drops on a roseby jab119Comment by qachyk: It's certainly a very different idea. (Or was it just a way to sneak a flower shot in?) I suppose the combination makes some sense, both being lover's tools, and I can't argue with the choice of liquid (yummy, chocolat).
The colouring on the rose has the side effect of making it look somewhat wilted or aged, which is a pity (the petals are slightly wilted, it looks like, but with a different colour it might have not 'felt' that way). I'm okay with the large amounts of negative space but it makes the focal blur stand out quite a bit which is slightly (but only slightly) distracting. |

Staple'sby jab119Comment by Mitonski: Nice shot... its nice the staples at the front are in focus, but a shame you couldnt get the whole of the remover in focus. Good lighting, nice idea. |

Staple'sby jab119Comment by hawkida: I can see you've carefully put this together but it doesn't work very well as a concept for me - looks too staged as the staples are clearly all unused. Can't quite put my finger on how it seems wrong but sorry, doesn't work for me. |
